Issue: Associated device/application listed incorrectly on Certificate object

Applies to:

Venafi Encryption Director 6.0.2.

Symptom:

On the Certificate Association tab, the Device and Application are listed incorrectly. The Policy object is listed as the Device, and the Device is listed as the Application.

Cause:

This is caused by a bug (#7251). The issue is encountered when a Certificate is associated to an Application during the initial Application Object creation process through WebAdmin.

Resolution:

Upgrading to Venafi Encryption Director version 6.0.3, or newer, will resolve the issue.
