Policy objects are not displayed under the policy tree but can be accessed when performing a search. This is because the console is configured int Query Mode.

This article describes how the option Support large object trees affects how objects are displayed in the console.

When the option Support large object trees is enabled, objects created under the Policy tree are not displayed.

However, when doing a search, all objects can be accessed.

This will occurs when the option Support large object trees is enabled in the Console Preferences.

To display all objects, the option must be disabled.

Refreshing the Policy tree will now display all objects.

Important: In the Web administration console, this setting is specific to each user. If a user enables the Support large object trees option, whenever he or she logs in to the Web administration console, the administration console will launch in Query mode.
