Error: DirectorUpdater Fatal Error displayed when installing or upgrading to Trust Protection Platform

Trust Protection Platform 14.1

Oracle Client 11g Release 2.0.0 and below

Symptom:

After installing / upgrading to Trust Protection Platform 14.1, the DirectorUpdater Fatal Error message:

DirectorUpdater could not unload existing Director files.

The only known cause for this os a certain version of the Oracle client.

Please re-run the updater and do not chose schema update option and consult the readme that came with the package.

Cause: 

This is caused by the Oracle version currently in use.

Resolution:

Upgrade the Oracle Client to 11g Release 2.0.4 and run Venafi Control Center to complete the installation / upgrade.
