The Venafi TPP logserver service fails to start; the Windows event log reports a System.SecurityException for the logserver.exe process.

Cause:

The account used to authenticate to the MS SQL Server database is not a member of the local administrators group.

Solution:

Add the Windows account use to authenticate to the MS SQL server database to the local administrators group.
