Info: How do exclude folders from being scanned on the agent

Summary:

This article describes how you can exclude folders from being scanned on specific systems. This can only be done if the server settings are not forcing different settings.

Execute this command once on on all the agents you want to exclude the folder called hosting.  It is expected that you will change the text 'hosting' to suit your needs. 

vagent -n ksscanner -a exclude-recurse=/hosting

TIP: Configuration files are stored in the data folder, in a group of files with the sq# extension, such as this one:
