The Venafi Developer Program is an annual subscription-based program that provides SDKs and support services to help customers and partners leverage and extend the Venafi Encryption Director platform.

VENAFI SOFTWARE DEVELOPER KIT

SDKs are at the core of the Venafi Developer Program. Using the Venafi SDK, customers and business partners can integrate Venafi solutions with third-party or homegrown applications, extend their current Venafi investment, or rapidly develop unique solutions using the Venafi Encryption Director platform. The SDK provides a code library consisting of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), Command Line Interfaces (CLIs), Web services, and other programmatic interfaces.  The Venafi SDK is a Web SDK that uses REST APIs which are the same APIs used by the Venafi development team.

SUPPORT

The Venafi Developer Program provides access to Venafi Application Programming Interface (API) expert engineers who can provide programming guidance.  With Venafi Developer Support you’ll receive best practice recommendations, debugging assistance and work-around suggestions when building and testing your applications.  You may receive programming advice, some input via small code snippets, and ‘sanity checks’ on sections of your code.  The engineering team will also validate and accept bug reports and requests for enhancements.
