Answer: Not for Venafi, but maybe for the associated Certificate Authority. CA's will often have limits based on product selection.

Within the construct of the Venafi Trust Protection Platform, each SAN entry is a new row in the database. You can literally add as many as you want. However, when the CSR is submitted, the CA may reject after a certain length, and in fact, most CA's do have a limit in length.

Thus, if you're getting an error about the length of the SAN entry, check with your CA.
