Symptom

Reports created in the Venafi product are suddenly being generated an hour earlier or later than designed originally.

Cause

If your Venafi server is configured on UTC time, this does not support the automatic Daylight Savings Time change, either forward or back. Since all Venafi reports are applied at system time, when the clock fails to be modified on the server, the reports will be sent at a different time - or rather, they will "appear" to come at a different time since your workstation clocks have changed, but the server did not.

Resolution

Ensure your Venafi platform servers are all configured to automatically adjust to Daylaight Savings Time or DST.
