Error: "Undefine attribute Work To Do failed; AttributeStillInUse" while upgrading to 18.4

Applies to:

When upgrading to 18.4 you may encounter this error while running the 18.4 Configuration Center

"ERROR: Upgrading Server installation error: Migration Task 'Undefine ToDo Attributes' encountered an error performing the migration.
Failed to undefine attribute Work To Do. Error: Undefine attribute Work To Do failed; AttributeStillInUse."

A patch for 18.4 (18.4.1) has been released to address this issue.

More Info:

In 18.4 there is a migration task that is migrating certificate objects with "work to do". In some rare cases, there might be an object such as an application, that has this attribute as well. If you run into this issue, please install the 18.4.1 patch, and then re-run the Venafi Configuration Console. Re-running the Venafi Configuration Console after applying the 18.4.1 patch will resolve the issue, and the configuration console should re-run the migration tasks that it failed on before.

The patch can be found at
